Genetics Portfolio

My name is Kelsey Bjornson and I am a Junior at Auburn University, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. Currently, I work as a lab technician in the Auburn Organic Chemistry Labs. I have plans to graduate from Auburn University in the Spring of 2017 and then proceed on to Dental School, post graduation. I hope to open up my own practice after I am out of Dental School, with aspirations to treat special needs patients and to perform general dentistry. I was born and Raised in Concord, Massachusetts. I have two older brothers, one of which is Autistic, and he has given me the inspiration to treat special needs patients considering it is exceedingly difficult to find dentists that do so. Currently, I am a member of Pi Beta Phi and I am a middle hitter on the Auburn Women's Club Volleyball Team. Along with these two activities, I also enjoy riding horses in my free time. I am a very dedicated and hardworking student that is always striving to achieve, and in my future I hope to make a difference in the world.
